" M. Edmund Lautin-American Photographer." Edition One.
This Edition Number One is an 8.5 by 8.5 inch Hardcover book and includes 35 images by the Master Photographer from the early 1920's thru 1975. 19 of the images are included in the Permanent Collection of The Boca Museum of Art, Boca Raton, Fl. This book honors the remarkable life and work of M. Edmund (Murray) Lautin, whose photography spanned more than half a century. The photographs in this book were taken by M. Edmund (Murray) Lautin between the 1920s and 1970s. Drawing from thousands of original negatives, his son Lew Lautin undertook the research, cataloging and printing of the images, ensuring the accuracy and fidelity of the work. Murray’s photographs capture the subtle poetry of everyday life, the humor and humanity of ordinary moments and the beauty hidden in overlooked corners. Published fifty years after Murray’s passing, this book reflects both his enduring vision and Lew’s loving commitment to preserving his father’s artistic legacy.
